Sierra Activist Website is Coming Back…

After five years in the “dead zone,” SierraActivist.org is getting a design makeover.

The Sierra Activist started its run in the mid-ninties as a newsletter to help keep track of the many issues in play, provide timely alerts, and sharing information among the greater environmental community. During this time I created the original Sierra Activist website on AOL, and then under the domain name we have today. After three years, the 10-page monthly newsletter was dropped in favor of a daily e-mail update featuring 100+ links to alerts, news and calendar items.

I’m keeping the original content of SierraActivist.org as an archive – 45,000+ pages – with the portal index page addressed as http://SierraActivist.org/archive.php.

While I intend to add content and functionality on a regular basis, I will definitely not return to the days of posting 100+ articles daily.

We’ll see where this goes.
