House Democrats’ campaign arm is trying to raise money by urging donors to help counter Chevron Corp.’s $2.5 million check to a GOP super-PAC.
“This make us so angry. Big Oil is trying to drop in at the last second and buy the election for the Republicans,” the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) said in a fundraising appeal Friday.
“If you want to fight Big Oil, if you want President Obama to win this election, then donate whatever you can right now,” the DCCC said.
