Former President Clinton said the massive storm accompanying Hurricane Sandy that hit the Northeast this week shows that Mitt Romney was wrong to mock President Obama's 2008 pledge to help slow the rise of the oceans.
“[Romney] ridiculed the president. Ridiculed the president for his efforts to fight global warming in economically beneficial ways,” Clinton said Tuesday, stumping for Obama in Minneapolis.
“He said, ‘Oh, you’re going to turn back the seas.’ In my part of America, we would like it if someone could’ve done that yesterday,” Clinton said.
