EPA Petitioned to Stop NJ From Allowing Private Engineers to Oversee Toxic Cleanups

The federal Environmental Protection Agency has been petitioned to stop New Jersey from implementing its Licensed Site Remediation Professional program, which was approved by the legislature and governor earlier this year to let private engineers oversee the long-delayed cleanups of more than 20,000 toxic sites.
